Would Krillin doing a Solar Flare before Frieza got hit by the Large Spirit Bomb have done more harm to the tyrant?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Would Krillin doing a Solar Flare before Frieza got hit by the Large Spirit Bomb have done more harm to the tyrant?

1) If just before Final Form Frieza had noticed the Large Spirit Bomb behind him, Krillin had used the last of his reserves to gain the Frost Demon's attention by slicing the tail off of Frieza again with a Destructo Disk before blinding the really nettled Space Emperor with a Solar Flare, would Frieza have taken more damage than from canon from not being able to guard at all against the Large Spirit Bomb thrown at him by Goku?

2) On another note, how would guess the strength of Android 21?

If the Taiyoken hit its mark, Freeza would be blinded and therefore unprepared to block/defend against the Genki Dama. It still would not have killed Freeza, mind you, but it would have surely caused him more damage than it did... Significantly more, I'd wager.

Freeza wouldn't have braced himself for it and would be more injured. The outcome wouldn't change, though.

The Genki Dama did not pack the power necessary to kill Freeza, that much won't change. However if he is effectively blindsided by the attack, he doesn't have the time to brace and be prepared for it, I can see him being knocked unconscious. This would make things very interesting because the whole gang will think he's dead and leave on the space ship. While in space, I imagine they would come up with the same plan to bring back the Namekians with Earth's Dragon Balls, and from there Dende would make whatever final wish to Porunga, but what if Freeza woke up by then? He would have access to Porunga and a whole bunch of Namekians to torture until one of them made his wish.

Freeza is now immortal and on his way to Earth for revenge, and Goku is not a Super Saiyan, but since the team has knowledge of this, they'll have a week or a month to prepare. Bust out the ROSAT early? Can Goku with another year of training defeat Freeza using Kaioken?
