The World Tournament Announcer says the last few world tournaments have been boring without goku and the others but apparently there has been only one tournament between gokus victory in the 23rd and the tournament at the start of the buu arc.
Is this a mistake or am I missing something?
It seems wierd no other tournaments ran between gokus victory and the buu arc one outside of the 24th which satan won but videl briefly mentions the tournament hasnt run in a while.

Perhaps he was referring to smaller tournaments, that weren't for the championship of the world.

There were at least two apparently, one in which Mr. Satan won, and another where Mr. Satan fought against non-Majin Spopovic. Announcer said "Without you guys Budokai was nothing". He could've meant only the last tournament, the one Satan actually won.
