His power is MAXIMUM!!

I found this on Myspace and I just couldn't help but share this (Yes, it's DBZ-related.)

Here's a newspaper showcasing a feature on kids and their favorite heroes, and well, see for yourself...

That is by far one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. I never thought that Broly, of all people, could be a role model!

Well, as you know, the best way to teach your kids values is to have they think Superheroes are the guys who beat the crap out of all the good guys, wipe out innocent people and civilizations, and destroy entire galaxies.

That kid is going to grow up to be the next Hitler.

This kid's only 8 years old. I bet one of his parents is an old-school DBZ fan, and fed him the tapes.

Oh calm down guys. The child is only eight. You know why he likes Broly? He's big and mega-powerful. That's it. He's not noticing that he's wiped out civilizations, he just knows that he's "cool" because of that. Most children aren't going to be questioning that stuff very deeply at such a young age. Growing up, there were plenty of characters from shows I or other kids I knew liked for really superficial reasons, and last I checked, none of us has grown up to be a second Hitler.

That reminds me of this thing I saw at the gym. Kids from some local school got to post their drawings, and some 6 or 7 year old kid had a humorously-drawn ssj3 Goku up there. (This was right around the time after Movie 12 came out on dvd)

I should've taken a picture of that. XD

I think its hillarious that parents let 8 year olds watch DBZ but they wont buy them a GTA game.

Why is that? Are kids going to start shooting energy blast at each other and turn into giant monkeys during a full moon or something?

I hardly think a Japanese cartoon aimed at 8-12 year-olds is on the same level as a shooter game with an M rating where you basically play as a character who is little more than a thug for hire. -_-

LOL indeed. Happy-go-lucky hero saves universe from evil vs. Gangsta driveby-shooting his way to clean his neighborhood from people affiliated with another gang. BIG difference in content there. DBZ is alright to show kids, GTA is not.

I think it's cute really. Who cares if Broli is a hero or not.
