The supposed ending of super

Post by vegetaslegacy15 » Mon Mar 12, 2018 3:13 pm

Why does everyone think that Super is done? yes it is going off the air for an undisclosed period of time but they never officially said the show is over. We have that movie coming out next year to. Plus all of the unfinished plot lines they introduced into the story. I honestly do not believe super is actually finished and that it will come back when the movie comes out. Or at the least they will launch a show with a new title that carries on supers story lines.

They have in fact said this explicitly:

Yes, the series presently on air will end here for now.

Really…? So it’s not just changing to another timeslot?
At present it is ending; beyond that is still undecided.
There is another thread with people pondering this same material (where the franchise could head from here, if Super's plotpoints could be picked up in a theoretical additional television entry, etc.). Please be sure to take a cursory look around to see if people are actively discussing the same thing you're looking to ask/discuss.

Like the interview above says, it's over for now. This is a smart way of wording it as it gives them more options in the future such as continuing Super, starting a new show, or nothing at all (this won't happen unless the movie is a major flop).

I think whatever we get in the future will be set after EOZ with the plot building up to a 3rd tournament, one between U7 and the 4 universes we haven't seen yet.

Regardless of what we get, the time off will give everyone enough time to hopefully avoid the writing and production mistakes they made with Super which will result in a stronger and better show for everyone involved.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
