My theory on who exactly this new Saiyan could be from the new movie

So there are a lot of theories concerning this new Saiyan character that’s set to appear in the upcoming movie. With the most populair one being Yamoshi. And they do have a point. It certainly MIGHT be Yamoshi, however, there are several problems with this theory. For starters, Yamoshi is dead and in spirit form now, secondly, Yamoshi is a good hearted Saiyan, so it would make no sense for him to be portrayed as a villain and fighting Goku. Also, Yamoshi was only ever a regular Super Saiyan, and merely created the ritual for the Super Saiyan God transformation. Furthermore, even if he was a Super Saiyan God, he would still stand ZERO chance against MUI Goku the way he is now! So that immediately throws that theory out of the window. The other ones are Broly (gotta love the fans’ thirst for him) and ofcourse, the most likely one, the new Saiyan drawn by Toriyama for the new dragon ball game, Dragon Ball Legends. He certainly looks like the figure in the teaser trailer! So it could very well be him. However, there are several pieces of evidence pointing towards the idea that it can’t be him. All of which i’m not getting into here now.

So, back to my theory!

I think the most likely theory is that this Saiyan, is the very first Saiyan to ever exist. I.e. The “ORIGIN” of the Saiyan race. And thereby ofcourse it’s source. Thereby making him the oldest, most ancient Saiyan out there.

It would make sense for him to be this stupidly powerful. To the point where he can match and maybe even defeat Ultra Instinct Goku. If Goku, like ALL Saiyans in history, owe their strength, abilities and limitless potential to this particular individual, ....Oh boy! Is he one stupidly OP dude!

Maybe all of them inherited a piece of his DNA. And THAT’S why they’re so powerful! It’s because of him that they are so strong, and therefore he MUST, by definition, be the strongest Saiyan to have ever existed. I.e. The TRUE Saiyan God!

They did say a while back when the first piece of movie news came out that this movie would revolve around the “origin” of the Saiyans and their strength... So it would only make PERFECT sense if THIS GUY is the origin of the Saiyans and their strength and limitless potential!

If he's the first Saiyan ever, he would destroy Dragon Ball GT Perfect Files guide's theory where it says Saiyans were originally Oozarus. I like that theory that the guide proposes.

I think this saiyan is someone Goku wished for back in episode 109 he mentions that if he win the dragon balls he would wish for someone strong to fight.

I love this theory and I hope you're right. It would be a bonus if it invalidated the Gt "Perfect" files.

GT is already destroyed lmao. And it’s not like retcons are a new thing to Toriyama and Dragonball. There’s been tons of them! Besides, GT is non canon so it wouldn’t even be considered a retcon lol.

I think this Saiyan will like be either the King of Sadal, Yamoshi, or possibly just a threat from Universe 6.
