u7 is not powered by trust, hell trust wasn't even mentioned until like episode 130 whereas u2 constantly talked about love and u11 had tons of justice talk. u7 is powered by 2 battle obsessed saiyans, a mutant prodigy lizard, an android with incredible intelligence and infinite stamina and a hybrid saiyan with infinite potential.

Universe 3 seems to be about logic, Universe 4 is stealth/duplicity, Universe 9 is scrappy cunning and Universe 10 is straight up might. Ironically, that made them one of the weakest.

Universe 6 is a weird one. It seems to be basically Universe 7 where nothing went wrong, which ironically made everyone weaker because there was less conflict. Seeing as the Universes tend to represent anime genres, let's say 6 and 7 are the shonen Universes powered by Fighting Spirit. Universe 6 is just the boring shonen where there was no story or growth because the resident maniacal supervillain's PR team was so good everyone thought he was decent.

Jiren's line about trust still fits because most shonen tends to lean hard into Power of Friendship stuff.

The trust theme of U7 was there throughout just because it wasn't mentioned openly doesn't mean in wasn't a thing. Examples being the Freeza Gohan cop out on Frost. Spirit Bomb. Freeza and Vegeta giving Goku their energy. Vegeta and Roshi moment when Vegeta tells Roshi to retire and leave the rest up to him and Roshi obliges. #17 & 18 getting Goku's back when he was vulnerable. And so on.
