GT incidental tunes available anywhere?

Post by urhash » Sun Jan 18, 2004 12:49 am

Are the tunes used during the GT episodes available anywhere? Were they ever released on CD? A lot of them are just instrumental variations of Dan Dan Kokoro but I think they're all pretty well done, particularly the prologue, the one done to a marching beat, and the one played when Goku transforms to SSJ4 for the first time.

The only real option available to fans of the DBGT background score (composed by Akito Tokunaga) is the soundtrack to the DB 10th Anniversary Movie, "Saikyou e no Michi."

Some info about the CD can be found at Daizenshuu EX on the Movie Music page, and if you decide you want it, you can get it through this page on Amazon Japan.

If you need help setting up an account there, just ask and I shall provide. :D

I own "Saikyou e no Michi", and I find it's a really fun and wonderful soundtrack. It definitely does have much of the instrumental music found in GT, although it doesn't have the "marching" variation of "Dan Dan" urhash mentioned, which I think is really nice sounding too. It does have some really beautiful tracks, particularly track 1-"Paozu Yama" and track 44-"Shinpi no Chikara". It also has the T.V. size version of "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikarete 'ku".
