Would the Mafuba work on Super Saiyans?

Just something I thought about and didn't find discussed previously. Surely, the technique wouldn't work on Goku. But while a Super Saiyan, as Krillin put it in DB Super when Goku prepared the Spirit Bomb for Jiren: "maliciousness creeps inside him". If so, I think it's interesting that such a substantial transformation would make the user more vulnerable in unexpected ways. So far, I only remember Yakon's unique energy draining being used as an opposing force stopping the transformation without inflicting enough damage. Please pitch in if you know of any other instances!

Frost used it successful on ss vegeta in the anime in terms of sealing him

Apparently it can work on anyone regardless of how good or evil they are. It worked on Kami, after all.

and since it worked on a guy as strong as future zamasu, I'm sure it would work on a lot of the cast

As of Super, the Mafuba is now the most overpowered technique in all of time. As long as you have a cheap, dollar store rice cooker and the proper seal, you can probably capture Zen'o.
I wonder if that's something Freeza would try.

It would also potentially make for some good earlier-in-the-timeline stories, like imagining what if Roshi went to fight the Saiyans and trapped at least Raditz.
