Color Designer Of DBZ Anime

Post by Dai-Saiyajin » Sun May 27, 2018 1:27 pm

Who was the Color designer (色彩設計) of DBZ Anime ? I know that Kunio Tsujita was the responsible for the coloring of movies 10-13, was him also the color designer of the anime ? Or was Toyoji Sawada or Hideko Chida ? Definitely there is a change in the color pallete at the beginning of the Buu Saga, the coloring was more lively and better than it was before, so, who was the color designer before the Buu Saga ? Are the Chief Designers, Yuuji Ikeda and Ken Tokushige, also Responsible for the Color Palette ?

Slightly related, but I was always curious on why they decided to follow the manga color scheme for Movies 6-9 and if they had a different color designer for those.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!
