"Dragon Ball Haruka Naru Gokû Densetsu"
That would be something like "Dragon Ball The Great Legend of Gokû" (well, not really "great", but I can't think of a nice translation for "haruka", here...).

Japan's response to the Legacy of Goku games :) Loving the in-game sprites. Reminds me of Buku Togeki.

Geez... this isn't another card battle game is it?

Don't get me wrong, I loved LSW... but it got old... fast.

Could be cool, I just hope it isn't the same Raditz to Freeza (or Cell) we've gotten over and over, and it'll have lots of neat extra quests. Movies and things, perhaps. Reguardless of content, really, I just want it to be long. Too many Dragon Ball "RPGs" I have beaten over a weekend.

heheh, this is interesting news. Although from the screens,it itsn't exactly clear how this game is going to play....the map system looks kind a like dragonball advanced adventure, but i can't seem to deduce anyhting from the other screens. 2007 seems like a good time for you guys to get a nintendo DS if you havn't already. :o

Well Trunks is in the ad so it'll probably go to at least the Cell saga.

EDIT: WTF, am I seeing things, or does Goku have Mr. Popo as a teammate (Or what I'm assuming are his teammates) in one of the screenshots?

EDIT 2: OMFG Lunch as a teammate!

Yet another DS game to look forward to... (Not that I'm complaining, mind you. +eyes Tenshinhan on scan+) ^^

I looks very shiny!

First off, hi! My first post. ^^;

The title, Harukanaru Gokuu Densetsu, is somewhat hard to translate well into English. Haruka means far, far away, far off, distant, remote, etc. Naru is the verb "to become". Gokuu Densetsu is easy, Gokuu Legend. I really have no idea how to translate Harukanaru into English.

For those interested, Bandai-Namco Games is the maker, and the genre is Card RPG.

I don't really think the cards are supposed to represent characters. They're referred to as "energy cards". Also, you see Gokuu twice in two of the screenshots. I'd imagine they work the same way like in Super Saiyajin Densetsu, just with characters' pictures on them for... some reason...

With a bigger picture I could translate more. Kanji kills my eyes at that size. :)

Oh. My. God. There had better be an english version available after it's been released in Japan. This looks pretty darn familiar to an older Dragonball Z 'card rpg' that I've played. It's probably the one that has already been mentioned above.

If I'm not mistaken, that picture of Tien looks like its from Dragonball series and the pic of Trunks suggests Android Saga. My guess is it goes through both.

Well in this picture Tenshinhan already has his scar, so it's the design from Dbz. Unless it's very end of Db.
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

I'm always one to buy DragonBall games but if its another card based fighter, then fuck it. Its just a waste of money.I've always wondered how Japan would respond to the LoG series and I hope this will be on the same par. As for as DragonBall and DS goes, have your eyes set on Jump Ultimate Stars (technically my first import game :o)..

.. Majin Buu and Majin Boo, Two of them?! Wow, with Piccolo saying that? Wow, art really reflects life, eh?

I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Wow, I'm impressed.
I'm glad that theres a Dragonball DS game coming out that actually looks decent.
Y'know, the world map actually reminds me of the Dragon World on Budokai 2.
Can't wait to get it!

The game looks great! The console is the best one to hold it on and but like everyone else that's said it already... another card game. Isn't this a little bit of a step back?

I hope not.
