I don't really know if this really belongs here, but well, it's still audio, so yeah.
Well, to the point. I got the whole and I mean the WHOLE german dub for Dragonball Z.
So if anybody wants to hear a sample of a character's voice, then please feel free to ask. I have all the episodes, so you can even add what moment in which episode you want to hear.

Goku's scream as he goes Super Saiyan on Namek.
Also, Vegetto.

1st file Goku
Freeza laughing just after killing Krillin
Freeza:" When I'm done with that little fart, then I'll fold you up!" (Straight translation, really)
Goku making sounds
Goku:" You damn coward! He was just...nearly a child."
Freeza moaning. (lol)
Goku making funny sounds
Lightning
Goku:" He will pay for that."
More lightning
Gohan acting all amazed
Goku reaching for breath
And finally, his SSJ Scream
http://www.speedyshare.com/202416987.html
2nd File Vegetto
Vegetto to Buu:" We didn't just raise our power, we tripled it by a thousand, you poor madman! It's like the difference between adding together and multiplying. Is that too high for you?"

Freeza's voice is a little... weird, but I like Goku's; his SSJ scream almost sounded like Masako Nozawa's SSJ scream (well, it obviously wasn't Masako Nozawa, but you know what I mean ^^;).
And Vegetto's voice... woah... just woah. Although, I don't think that that deep voice suits Buu at all.
And why does the clip run on for a full minute after the audio stops?

Yeah, they try a lot. I could get a clearer voice for Freeza if you want.
And Vegetto's voice... woah... just woah. Although, I don't think that that deep voice suits Buu at all. Neutral
Buu actually sounds a lot like the american voice. It's very deep and sounds angry.
And why does the clip run on for a full minute after the audio stops? Confused
Because I suck at ripping.

No, I don't mean the quality of the voice. It's just that his voice, like Buu, is a little too deep for Freeza.
Yeah, his
English voice is.
Peservere and you'll only get better.

By clearer, I meant a scene where he doesn't have to sound like he is being sexually harassed by 2 huge black men.
I said American, 'cuz we say it like that over here.
They don't shout "crickey!".
And of course I am legit to visit this forum. I am 14.

The German dub is bullshit. Like Mike said (for the FUNi dub), I say it for the German dub: "I fucking hate the dub!!".
Oh, and
here is a thread with "some" information.

Oh, right. How about when he appears after being hit by the Genki-Dama?
By English, I meant his American voice. And as for that "crikey" part, well, English people don't shout "crikey!". I should know. I live there.

I think that you're thinking of Australia, and more specifically, the late Steve Irwin.

The actor, not the character.
The German dub is bullshit. Like Mike said (for the FUNi dub), I say it for the German dub: "I fucking hate the dub!!".
It's a matter of taste. I for one don't like Goku to sound like a 3-year-old.

Oh snap! I'm so sorry. I allways mix Australia and England up! Damnit.

That's not the point at all.
Btw, you understand German, so check
this.

Wow. If someone decides to write something that long, then he sure is convinced that the german dub is crap.
Well, it may be crap, but I grew up watching the german dub. So what can I say, it's okay to me, allthough after 5 years it sure seems less spectacular.
Oh, and yes, I can speak German just fine.

Sure if you grow up with this stuff, you're used to it. But actually it sucks. And it's not bad to recognize this. Me, for example, grow up with the German dub of the Robin Hood anime. If I watch this today, I punch myself right in the nuts, because I can't believe that I found this dub good.
It's "funny". The freaks hate the German Ranma 1/2 dub, altough it's pretty good. They hate it, because it's a German dub and they watch the Japanese one before it aired in Germany.
You can say the same for Naruto. Sure, this dub ins't very good (and the cuts and edits are ridicilous). But the voices are not sooo far from the Japanese ones, like it is in the DBZ dub. But the freaks and nerds hate it. Why? Because they saw the Japanese version before the German one. And the SAME fucking nerds love the German DBZ dub, which has almost nothing to do with the Japanese version. That makes me crazy!
PS. sorry for the OT
