Fun idea to make oolong relevant again

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Fun idea to make oolong relevant again

Post by Golden SS4 » Mon Aug 03, 2020 11:25 pm

What if Buu gets mad at someone and turns them into candy, then falls asleep. With no options they resolve to find the dragon balls to undo the magic, but pilaf theorizes that Buu’s magic is the same as his shape shifting magic but casted onto others instead of themselves. He teaches the candified warrior how to reverse the shape shifting technique and return to normal. Just a neat idea.

More like for first time ever Heh. He could also learn to hide his ki, so he can transform into Beerus to scare everyone that knows him, or in Zenō to scare Beerus.

I've always envisioned a scenario where Oolong had to infiltrate a villain's HQ and struggle to stay transformed, stay in character, and not blow his cover. And internally, he's just in complete terror. A lot like Ikalgo in Hunter x Hunter.

They should definitely do more with Oolong and shape shifting.

Oolong and Puar are shapeshifters, which makes for great action/comedy potential, but one is a coward and the other is too lazy to want to be useful.

I think Oolong has the better comedic potential between the two, as seen from his showdown with Beerus in BOG (not DBS which drew it out).
"Don't take pleasure in destruction!" / "I will not let you destroy my world!"
A true hero goes beyond not the limits of power, but the limits that divide countries and people.
