Why the Dragon Ball Super's Manga release so slow ?

Why super is monthly instead of weekly like the old manga and most shounen manga too.
It already been a year since the anime end and we barely even finish a single arc yet. By the time the anime come back, it will take no time for the anime to go ahead of the manga again.
So what is the deal with the new seri ? why even product the manga to begin with ?
the only reason that a lot of people come to read manga, they just can't wait. The anime end is the perfect change to make thing up. But no, why ?
As far as i concert, Toyotarou not doing a great job either so the it not like they spending extra time for polish the drawing. it is not looking great for a weekly manga, it far from good for a monthly manga

Because it's in a monthly magazine. Also, if you don't like Toyo's work, why do you even care when the manga releases? Just ignore it

I honestly prefer it being slow. As someone with a strong preference for physical books I like the breathing room my wallet gets (only collected volumes 1-5 so far). I also like the fact we're not oversaturated with new content but getting it at a pace I can keep up with.

It's monthly, but the chapters are longer than the original Dragon Ball chapters, so we get roughly the same amount of pages we would have got in a month from the original manga.
