It seems like less than a year passed between “You’re late, Goku! Everyone party!!” and the start of Super : Goten and Trunks are still around 7 and 8 respectively, Vegeta agrees to go on the family vacation because of the promise he made to Trunks in the Boo arc, etc

But somehow Gohan and Videl went from first-year high school students to grown married adults?

First year high school students? I believe they were, like 17 or 18 during the Buu Saga. Not sure how the Japanese school system works, but I am pretty sure 17 is the normal age for a last-year secondary school student.

In the BoG film, it is stated that 4 years have passed since Kid Buu's defeat, which would make Gohan and Videl around 21-22 years old, which I suppose is an acceptable age to get married and have children. Considering that Videl already had Pan in her womb, I would estimate that they married three or four months from then, meaning that they could be either 20-21 years old when they married.
However, DBS's Beerus arc supposedly takes place six months (!!) after Kid Buu's defeat, which is just fucking wrong.

Gohan was 16 in the Boo arc. Since the Japanese school year starts in April and high school starts at 10th grade in Japan and Gohan’s birthday is in May and I think the implication is Gohan maybe started public school a few months late he’s suppose to be a first year high school student

I think the confusion was in anime filler only Toei had Gohan at 11 for his birthday episode but when the manga stated Gohan was 16 at the beginning of the Boo arc (making him 9 during Cell) they just “fixed it”

It would be weird for Chi Chi to home school Gohan until his last year of high school and then abruptly have him go to public school for just one year.

Well Goku and Chi Chi got married at 18. And even supposing Gohan and Video are suppose to be around 18 and in the last year of high school in the Boo arc Super doesn’t otherwise act like enough time had passed for them to get marry and have Videl get pregnant.

The Beerus movie/Super is about 4 years after Kid Boo died. Gohan/Videl are basically High School sweethearts who got married during/after college.
