Goku poking people in the eyes early in the series
Do you think this is kind of out of character for Goku? Eye pokes are the most dishonorable move. They can easily cause permanent damage and we are all lucky that Goku didn't blind guys like Yamcha and Roshi. I thought Goku believed in honor and a fair fight, but apparently eye pokes are not dirty in this universe?
Or do you believe that all is fair in a life and death battle, and Goku poking people in the eyes is actually a smart move?

He didn't give a damn about honor as a kid, it was all about beating the opponent. He did all sorts of cheap moves and tricks back then.

These were values he eventually adopted over the course of his experience as a martial artist. He even calls eye pokes dirty when Freeza tries doing it with him.nickzambuto wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 7:56 pm Do you think this is kind of out of character for Goku? Hmm... You mean the guy who regularly bites people?

Anyway poking eyes was replaced with solar flare, I don't think it's considered as cheating in his point of view, aren't there martial arts that specifically target the eyes? This isn't a sport

He learned this move from his Grandfather. Are we suggesting Grandpa Gohan is a dirty underhanded fighter?

How dare you imply the man who let his adopted grandson sleep on his testicles is anything less than wholesomenickzambuto wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 2:07 pmIf he's an eye poker than yes.MasenkoHA wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 1:33 pm He learned this move from his Grandfather.
