About editing post

I want to ask how come sometimes when I edit my post there are text that says I have edited my post and sometimes there is no text saying that I have edited my post?

if someone makes a post in the thread after you edit your post, it'll have a time stamp, if you edit and no ones posted then it won't.

pretty helpful for someone like me who edits their post constantly due to spelling/forgetting a word/awkward wording/a mistake or whatever.

Thanks now I know why the edit text appears and doesn't appear. Same here those are the reason I edit my post.
