Dragn Bal Gt, yo! the LOZT EPISODEZ!

Post by B-kun » Thu May 06, 2004 2:45 am

Heh, sorry about that. =_=

Anyway, I'm not sure if someone's already said this. If so, just ignore this cry for attention.

Erm, right.. Anyway, people who've gotten the new issues of Shounen Jump probably know this by now, but for the rest of y'all, a release date's been announced for the "lost episodes" of Dragon Ball GT. They're gonna (start being?) released on July 13th, and, according to the advertisement, I think they're going under the title "Legend of the Blackstar Balls".

The more you know. <3

I'm going to kill you all...

Except B-kun, because he's prepared for any attack by me. I would have killed him as soon as he learned of my weakness (BY SCUTTLING) and before he could prepare, but he got away (BY BOUNCING) before I could do anything.

...Oh, hi there, B-kun!

Anyway, I must have missed that ad. It was an ad, right?

Yeah, it was at the end of the issue. It also had the release date for the last GT DVD.

Yay, now I have a reason to buy GT! Yes, I'm lame, and like the early episodes of GT, if only to see Trunks cross-dress ;_;.

I'll second that!

And....to get an idea of what Meri means, behold Trunks in touch with his feminine side!

And....(Check out Trunks's six-pack, very impressive! ):

Holy crap... I'm a perv!! Maybe THAT'S why I liked those episodes! A small glimpse of Trunks tummy, more than we ever saw in DBZ!

... And with that, I'll end my 16-year-old fangirl mode. Wow, I haven't said anything like this in YEARS! I scare me ;_;.

I don't think I've actually seen the early GT episodes beyond episode 12, so it'll be nice to see those. Hell, I've never seen most of Bebi, and I fell asleep through my fansubs of the Evil Shenlong stuff, so any chance of me watching/re-watching GT on DVD is kinda bad. But one day, I WILL force myself to watch it all!

._.;; I can't seriously be the only one here who's enjoyed all of GT he's seen so far... (I've missed lots of gaps, the first 16 eps included...)

And I never woulda thought Meri had a fangirl sleeping inside her.. Well, she's cool, so we'll spare her..

GT's pretty awesome! Just... not as good as DBZ..... But I like GT enough to stay awake...

Just as a add-on note for the initial post:

Funi has a trailer for these episodes now, don't know if it's on their website but it was on the new Yu Yu Hakusho DVD (Vol 23., Dangerous Games) and it calls the episodes the "Blackstar Dragon Ball Saga", yet they seem to be getting advertised under the Lost Episodes banner on the retail sites.

Wonder what the reason for the change was....

Through some miracle they realized how incredibly lame it was to claim them as Lost Episodes, when it had been a marketing ploy from day-1 and everyone knew? Nah, that would be giving them too much credit. :D

If anything I think they are probably going to go with the Lost Episodes title over the Blackstar Dragon Ball Saga title, as you would think the retail sites would have more up to date info than a trailer that has probably been in the can for months.

More likely it's because they will no longer be "lost" once they released, so they'll have to have a proper name.
Romana: "I don't think we should interfere."
Doctor: "Interfere? Of course we should interfere! Always do what you're best at, that's what I say."

Well, Cartoon Network (American) insistantly called the final 17 episodes of Sailor Moon the "lost episodes" up until they finished. I'm almost disappointed DiC had stopped there. Honestly, if they'd just put in the original music and kept some more names, it would've been better than Cloverway's S dub.

They actually stopped doing that near the end of R. I believe they started calling the Negamoon the Black Moon (original name) or Dark Moon.. Can't remember.

My favourite dub line is still Sailor Moon calling Tuxedo Kamen a "Hunkmeister"!

B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
