Hello everyone. I'm having a lot of trouble getting into the chat. I just switched ISP's, and I've never had any problem before. I think, perhaps, my new ISP blocks access to Rizon for some reason or another. If this is the case, would entering the IP directly solve the problem? What's Rizon's IP anyway? Thanks in advance for any help offered.
I'm using mIRC 6.03, Windows 2003 server, and a dial-up internet connection through a local ISP, if any of that stuff matters. I've tried connecting to both rizon.net and rizon.ca , but neither of them work for me.
If this is the wrong place to ask for help, please let me know, and I'll delete this message.

Sometimes irc.rizon.net goes down or has connection timeouts, so try out these servers that will connect to to the same one:
irc.riz0n.net (that's a zero, not an O)
irc.isdumb.net
irc.gamepad.ca
Those are the only ones I can think of.
And just in case it's nick or whatever issues:There's also:
irc.splitnet.net
irc.juped.com
irc.corezx.com
To register a nick. You should get a notification about an authorization code being sent to your email. YOU MUST use the authorization code in your email to successfully register your nick.
/nickserv register password email (if I got this wrong then switch the password and email around)
To group a nick. This registers an alernate nick(s) to a nick group, and much easier than registering nicks everytime like above
/nickserv group mainnick mainnickpassword
To ghost a nick, like if you get disconnected and your nick is stuck on the server or something is using your nick
/nickserv ghost nick nickpassword
To drop/unregister your nick
/nickserv drop yournick

This is auto-perform. To access, select on your toolbar Tools - Options, or press alt+O. Basically you can set it to automatically identify your password and join a chatroom when you open mIRC. The channels are just examples of what I go into, so you'd just go:
/nickserv identify yourpassword
/join #channelname
