Could Goku being born a prince but having low class power have created a better dynamic between himself and Vegeta?

My brother argues Raditz deserved more as Goku's brother and my counter was making Vegeta Goku's brother would have worked better.

I would not mind that they would share the same father, but I don't see the need for that either.

A better dynamic than keeping Raditz around just because he's Goku's brother.

I think there's potential in Vegeta being the height of saiyan royality and then Goku is born as a 3rd class reject insulting the royal family.

Vegeta wants noting to do with his brother only for years later to find out his brother died against another lownlevel just like he figured.

Vegeta is even more pissed off his royal blood line now has a hybrid saiyan in it. Finally when his little brother shows up and defeats Nappa finally proving himself worthy of the royal title Goku rejects everything that Vegeta worships.
