Would a Toei Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and DBGT HD TV series remaster be censored?

Kai got censored. So did the movies. Would Toei censor a remaster of the original TV series? If they ever remaster them.

Sadly yes, Super also had reduced levels of blood so seemingly standards and practices have changed in Japan since the 80s and 90s.

Another reason many of us may be better off sticking with what home releases we have. Hell for Z if you can find the old Z singles at an affordable price and a suitable substitute for the cut stuff in seasons 1-3 that may be as good as it gets. Ditto OG Dragon Ball and GT, which are luckily available uncut and have serviceable season sets. At least NEPs and title cards aside they will represent the show faithfully.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

If this were to be applied to the original anime run's releases over there beyond the movies (though there's been no confirmation on that at this time) would they do similar digital manipulation/splicing/cutting.etc of the kind that FUNimation's editors did back in the mid '90s? Like similar to the censorship policies that Saban enforced on DBZ that led to things like the complete editing out of blood or other things or digital undies to cover up nudity but with 20+ years of advancements on digital editing technology.
DB collection related goals as of now:

1.) Find decent priced copy of Dragon Box Z Vol. 4 (Done)

2.) Collect rest of manga

3.) Get rest of Daizenshuu (2-7)

No, I think the censorship would be something like Kai or the movies.

I wouldn't have ever thought this until they actually censored the movies for the blu-ray release. If they did, it would be tragic. But even if Toei does do a good HD transfer, and censors it, it will not be the end of the world. Fans will fix the censorship issues. It is likely that when an HD transfer does happen, even if there is NOT censorship, the blu-ray boxset would not be the end all be all release because they will probably not use the broadcast audio. Regardless, whether there is censorship or not, the fans will ultimately be the ones to put out the best way to preserve the series once Toei does their part of doing a good HD transfer.

If we got a good HD transfer from Toei, I honestly wouldn't care if they censored the show of bit. Realistically they would only just remove the middle fingers and that's about it. They would not remove the blood they didn't do it for the movies or for the TV special https://i.imgur.com/rQ0yasf.jpg so why would they do it for the series?

As far as nudety, on HD bardock TV special (and in some movies like Broly) they show baby goku and it wasn't censored.

Maybe. It wouldn't be as censored as Kai since it's not a new show like Kai legally was. So it wouldn't be to nearly the same level. Especially if it was done for streaming or home release only. Sure maybe flipping the bird might be censored but that's so little that it doesn't matter. So the important parts of the show would be fine

But the middle fingers are part of the funny moments.
