Budokai 3 = DBZ2V... ?

First "screen shots" from this supposed Budokai 3. Looks exactly like DBZ2V, to me. Broly and Coola, same Budokai ring stage as the last game, blah blah blah.

You know things are out of proportion when Broly's nuts are probably bigger than all of Goku's torso.

So far things are looking great; but if the addition of Broli, Coola, and Kuriza is all that's new to this "Z3", I doubt it will have a good reception over here, if it's even released.

Still, I'd buy it again if just to play as those 3 ^_^ I hope Broli has his other 2 forms as well (Default, SSJ)

I doubt they'll just re-release Z2 as Z3, they want a profit and know they wont get one that way. It may be that Brolly, Cooler, and Goku are the only finished character models at this point.

That might be it. Them and the Budoukai fighting ring (GIVE US VARIETY IN SCREENCAPS, DAMMTI!). By the way, while I'm thinking about arenas, how do you break scenarios on Namek in Budoukai 2? And Kaioushin's planet? It drives me insane.

Bah! I eint gonna get no PS2! Sure, i'll go play it at my cousins. Yeah, i'll go jack it someday but I think Nintendo is better. Sony just comes out with new consoles on and on and on. You keep needing to by the latest as Nintendo if much different, I mean, Gamecube came out when it needed to come out.

Yeah, but only became Nintendo had just come out with the "Nintendo 64" about a year earlier. This is the ONLY playstation console upgrade. All others were variants on the PS1. On top of which, PS2 plays PS1 games as well.

In short, Nintendo has:
- Nintendo
- Super Nintendo
- Nintendo 64
- Gamecube

Super did not play Nintendo, 64 played niether precedent, Gamecube plas fuck all.

Playstation has:
- Playstation
- Playstation 2
PS2 also plays PS1 games.

I'm just too poor to afford anything over $30. Especially since I buy comics every week, and the occasional DVD and TP. By the time I'll have enough cash saved up, I'll have to spend it all on school books for university.

It's the only Playstation console upgrade because Sony didn't start making consoles until 1996. Nintendo's previous two consoles were out ages before that.

Sony has released two consoles since 1996. Nintendo has released two consoles since 1996 (obviously ignoring the Game Boys). I'm not seeing the difference.

And "Gamecube came out when it needed to come out"? What's that mean? Consoles always come out in stages. The PS1 and N64 came out at basically the same time. The Gamecube and PS2 came out at basically the same time. N4, X-Box 2 and PS3 will all come out at the same time.

Console debating is always pointless, because people feel the need to justify their puchase as being OMG SUPER WOW better than everything else. If we're talking about pure hardware power, then the Gamecube and X-Box both beat the PS2. And the N64 beats the PS1. That's not important though. What's important are what games you want to play. The X-Box has Halo, Knights of the Old Republic, and other games which I'd love to play. The PS2 has Pro Evo Soccer, Final Fantasy, and more. But I already had a mate who had a PS2, so I got a Gamecube, because I wanted to play Zelda and Mario Kart. Horses for courses.

And honestly, who the hell actually plays PS1 games on their PS2? I don't know anyone.

And before anyone says "I DO", "I DO", I bet you also own (or used to own) a PS1.

Not terribly likely, since Goku looks exactly the same to how he did in Budokai 2.

Never mind the fact that the Budokai 2 models were pretty much the Budokai 1 models. The cel-shading and black outline would have been part of the actual display code, not the models themselves.

It may look like the recycle character models, but they don't. The hair on the B1 models moved, in B2 it didn't. They always make new models for a new game.

Actually that's exactly why. My three favorite non GB/GBA games are Chrono Trigger (re-released as an FF game for FF Chronicles or some FF re-release along with FF2 or 4 or 96 or something), FF7 and Mega Man X4.

Other than those, the budoukai games, Capcom vs Marvel series and Knights of the old republic (Xbox unfortunately), I don't want ANY non GB/GBA games.

....Actually that's a long list of games. I also want my old NES+SNES games back.
