Couple things about that!

In the manga, we see it was actually "JETAP":



I don't know what that might have been a reference to. Maybe it was a variation on a brand name, maybe it was a play on someone's name... who knows?

Something changed along the way and in the TV series we see it as "HETAP"



If I had to guess, I'd say that was probably a cropped-off reference to Akira Toriyama's Hetappi Manga Kenkyūjo ("Cruddy Manga Lab"), a comic on how to draw comics originally serialized back in Fresh Jump from 1982 to 1984; it later got a collected release in 1985 and finally a digital release in 2016.



As for what TYPE of drink it is...?! That's anyone's guess! I'd say since the other drinks are specifically labeled "BEER" and this one has a different name, it's probably a non-alcoholic drink. Sports drink maybe?

Well team four star did a commercial. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is an energy drink. it kinda looks like one and In the anime gohan is drinking one.
