If Freeza wanted to be taller, why didn't he stick around in his 2nd form or design his 1st form taller?

This was asked in the movie and I believe he said he wanted to be taller in his natural state (the white purple form).

The true answer is that Freeza has a sense of fashion and does not like striped sleeves and leggings. He had rather be naked with the jewels showing. It takes some time to build the confidence for that.
