Buy/Sell/Trade Thread?

Post by nathantheguitarist » Tue Jan 09, 2007 12:04 am

I actually kinda think it's wierd there isn't one of these threads; I especially thought this after the lastest podcast.

A thread where the community can sell their Dragonball games, or say that they're looking for a certain game or two would be pretty cool in my opinion. And I don't mean conduct business in the thread it-self, but rather put a notice up, and then someone can PM you with any info, or even say that they PMed you about it in the thread, just to keep it alive.

I don't necessarily think that it should be a "OMG! BY MY BUDEHKY!1 LOL" thread, maybe only limit it to rare, and import games, because the Budokai games are pretty easy to get ahold of.

IMO, this idea is really cool. I've seen this work very well in a Power Rangers/Super Sentai forum. And they made it a little like eBay, and put in the very top of the thread a feedback system: people who bought from, or sold to other members would leave a feedback post in the thread, then at the top post the seller's/buyer's name would be added to the top post, with two number figures by that person's name: a green number, and a red number: green meaning the number of good feedback, and the red meaning the number of bad feedback, example:

nathantheguitarist - 3:1
VegettoEX - 5:0

I don't know if this was started before, and if it got shut down, but if VegettoEX could say if this is okay or not, that would be great. ;)

But if he can't right away, the rest of you should post what you think about this idea too. :)

I think it not bad, althought I am not really into internet buying but the only thing I am annoyed with is how do you get so much post so fast? :x

Everyone's like, "What?! What are you doing with two arms?! You tear that off right now, mister!"

Well, I'll request something if no-one minds.

Does anyone have a PAL copy of Advance Adventure they'd like to sell? I can't find it anywhere these days, and am now kicking myself for not purchasing when I had the chance.

Killyleagh in Northern Ireland - nearest city is Belfast.

It's not in any GAME, GameStop or even Forbidden Planet (which has thrown up a few surprises in the past). I've even tried a load of Xtra-vision shops which have started selling games but to no avail!

Meh... maybe he just can't get to 'em (which he can't in a latter post), so I say a link would've worked best.

This wasn't entirely relevant, but couldv'e been taken care of in your request post... or something >_>

Conversing = irrelevant ;)

THAT'S what this is all about! Helping the fanboy in need! Bravo! *applauds*
No irrelevancy, simple, and straight to the point. 8)

*Flicks Dizzy's forehead*
This calls for a time out mister! IRRELEVANT!

A "thanks" for a good deed is never criticized, it is smiled upon. :)

See, the best Dragonball community out there helping each other out to enjoy the series they've fallen in love with; I admit if it get's like this with so much irrelevancy flying about, then it wouldn't work too well... but I think people would get used to it and enjoy it after alittle touching up. :D
