Why do the heroes shout their attack names loudy when and before attacking?
Wouldnt that be a huge tactical disadvantage?

Same reason Fused Zamasu does it.

But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. In DBS Kuririn could shout Taiyoken infront of Goku face, yet he believed that light was Monaka transformed. Didn't detect any change in ki or scent at all.

This is an extension of a kiai and relates to the importance of breathing in martial arts. It focuses the mind, spirit, power, etc. into pinpointing the attack with the most effectiveness.
