As a Video Maker...

I must make a humble request.
Youtube no longer has episodes of DBZ on it so I have no way whatsoever of getting the clips to make my humorous videos, especially the sequel to my film DBZ Dub Hell, which I have entitled "DBZ Dub Hell: The Quickening".

I would like to find the following clips with lines or sounds:

1) The part where Goku does a Kamehameha and sounds like he's taking a crap. Found the audio on some website but cant seem to find the episode its on.

2)"That's a really big chunk!" - Kuririn, Namek-sei during Goku's fight with Furiza

3) "That came from my dad??" - Gohan, while Goku is powering up in the redub of the infamous "over 9000" scene.

4) "Whatever turns you on, big boy" - Furiza to Goku

5) The part where GOku is disgusted by the taste of Furiza's tail and his smell

6) "Gohan stop!" Piccolo, when Gohan Whistles with Haiya Dragon at the beginning of the Lord Slug film.

7) The scene where Turnks moons Brolly

Donations of any other dbz dub line you think is "corruptable" enough to be in my video would also be greatly appreciated.

I was very lucky when I discovered that "You understaaaaand??" gem. I was looking for the "caressing balls" scene and found it. Thats what we call serendipity.

We do not condone bootlegging. We don't want to hear about your bootleg DVDs. We don't want to hear about how many episodes you've downloaded. We don't want to hear about how many 320 kbps MP3s you've collected. When it comes down to it, DBZ has had a very rough uprising in various countries, but we're finally at the point where we can legally purchase the things we want and support our fandom. None of us want to hear about anything that goes against this. If you're an actual fan of the property, you pay for things you want. That's the end of the story.

I think what your trying to find kinda falls under this, though I may be misinterpreting your post.

Besides, if someone else was dumb enough to buy thm, whats the harm in asking them to donate some clips?

Even if I was, what the hell kind of fansite DOESNT condone bootlegging? What is WRONG with you people? Funimation is EVIL and does NOT deserve our patronage.

Also, this site, as far as I know, has never condoned bootlegs and never will. So just get over yourself.

If you don't want to give FUNimation your money, just import.

I will never, ever buy anything from any dub company ever.

I am an old school anime fan who doesn't want to support lop jobs and censorship. And yes, I do consider being lazy enough to ignore Japanese cultural references to be a form of censorship.

I'm willing to stand for what is right, that does not make me ignorant.

If you're a true anime fan you'll buy the products and support the people who made the show. By bootlegging you're not only hurting FUNimation, but the people at Toei too, cause I'm sure that they get some sort of royalties or something like that. And not only are you hurting those two companies, but the voice-actors also, both American and Japanese.

Just grow the hell up!

aarondirebear, why don't you just import things if you hate FUNimation so much? If you really are an "old school anime fan", you'd know that purchasing bootlegs don't support the shows you enjoy at all. That's all I have to say, SatoSky has covered everything else for the most part.

If I had a means of getting imports I would have taken it by now. Where in the Nine Hells am I supposed to get a Dragonbox for Chris Sakes....?

Yes, I may have downloaded all my DBZ from bittorrent (sadly enough it was Daimao's translation), but if I ever met Akira Toriyama on the streets I would gladly fork over a couple hundred bucks for his great series. If I buy the American version I know Toriyama san isn't going to get a dime. Better to give tit to pirates than to Funimation. I consider the pirates to be the lesser of the two evils.

Well, clipswise, you could try DBArena. I don't know if they have them there, but you could try.

And I'm gonna have to agree with the rest. If you are a real anime fan, you would have bought the FUNimation discs. Sure, they may not be the greatest anime DVDs, but the very least, it's what the fans want (Japanese edition +great subtitles).

I already have the Japanese version thanks to azureus. (Wanting to own all of DBZ was my only reason for getting the internet and a computer in the first place, actually).

Dont get me wrong, if I ever find the Dragonbox (the Japanese one) I will buy it. Where in the nune hells is an Americna supposed to get it in the first place?

I just dont want to support a company that destroys its own product.

I also refuse to pay almost 30 bucks for 3-4 episodes with no special features such as commentaries.

I will continue to refuse no matter how many bleeding hearts try to convince me otherwise, so please stop trying.

So now...I want clips of the English DUB not the Spanish version and not the Real version. That site seems to be JApanese.

Here is what I intend to do:

Goku: "Eww you really smell back here" (goku grabbing Furiza's tail)

Goku: "Your" (Your is very hard to extract :( )

The Vegeta Saga uncut. 39 episodes. Six DVD's. $38.94 with next day shipping. A crap load of special audios and a little video about how FUNi remastered the damn thing. Sure it's widescreen, but it won't hurt you. I swear.

Hey, I'm a poor University student living off a Provincial and Federal loan, but I can still find the funds in my budget to pick up the new season sets.

Anyway, I was gonna support you by saying that I understand you just want a few little clips to make a video and not the full episodes, but you really are getting on like a douche.

And I don't care how much you hate FUNimation. I'm not a big fan of them, either. But they paid money to get Dragon Ball Z out on DVD, so if you want it, you'll have to buy it from them, or go straight to the source and buy the Japanese DVDs. But I'm sure most people on here are familiar with the idea that bootlegging is wrong.
