I haven't been able to find any schedules, but Barry Watson did indeed say Dragon Ball Z received an hour long timeslot in an interview for volume 6, number 3 of Animerica magazine in March 1998:
The important bits that demolish the "Dragon Ball Z failed in syndication" argument are in bold.Barry Watson wrote:
"Given the popularity of Dragon Ball Z in its first year, it was decided that it would be best to increase the number of airings, to twice weekly on the weekends.
This would give more people a chance to catch on to the Dragon Ball craze as well as to get viewers accustomed to the continuing storyline concept."
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

I mean... I was there for it, and I've mentioned it several places across this very website and podcast, but I imagine you're looking for something more external than that?
In addition to what what just linked above (but that's our own "Press Archive" here on Kanzenshuu, so again, in the interest of something unrelated to us): I literally just Googled "TV Guide September 1997" (when "season two" began) and in the first result it's clearly visible that it airs back-to-back (page 82 in the scan):

I knew it would be Vegetto EX who could confirm this for me. And I know he would, he loves informing people. Thanks Mr Vegetto EX!VegettoEX wrote: Mon Jun 10, 2024 2:51 pm I mean...
