The "Lost" English fandubs of the DBZ Bardock TV Special

Post by TechExpert2021 » Mon Jun 17, 2024 2:14 pm

In 2015, there were 2 English fandubs of the DBZ Bardock TV Special: one made by xXInfinite026Xx and the other by OmegaRockman. As a fan of dubs, I would love to see these English fandubs of the DBZ Bardock Special. Unfortunately, the link to the xXInfinite026Xx fandub on YouTube is private and the folders for both fandubs at Mega are empty.

So, I can assume that these fandubs became lost due to the aforementioned reasons above. If you're the person who produced either of these fandubs, do you still have the original video files?

Also, I'm not asking like I want a link to the fandubs (with video and audio combined), because Kanzenshuu does not condone piracy in any way in any form when we have an official legal release of the TV special available. I only want to make sure you still have the original video files of the fandubs. If you do have them, you could make them available online but only in audio form so we can use the video of the TV special from our legally purchased home video releases. If made in video and audio form elsewhere, a link should never be provided.

I wasn't involved in either of these fandubs, but I have downloaded them and kept them around. Note that these are all audio only, and you may need to reencode them based on your specific needs.

I don't know if I would call either lost, OmegaRockman's version isn't, because I have it and am happy to share (DM me if interested). I asked him for it and he didn't seem aware the Megalink had expired and he provided me with a file.

I would assume the same would be true for xXInfinite026Xx's dub, and because he went out of his way to create a fandub he would care enough to preserve it and provide a copy if asked.
