"Destined Rivals" help?

I can't seem to beat Gohan with Goten, and I know I should probably equip something to him, but I don't know what to equip.

Is there a special item I should buy from the store to equip to him?

Hmm, I'd recommend Health +5/+10.

For any character, that's all you really need. If you have the health, your skill can make up for any lack of strength, ki power, etc.

Also, if you get hit, it won't hurt'cha as much.

Defense +5/+10 wouldn't hurt either ^_-

I had trouble with this too, I had tried like 10 times but kept messing up. Luckily, I had the 7 dragonballs and got kiss of 18, equipped it to my already suped up Goten and whaled on big brother. If anybody else has this problem, equip health +10 and keep doing "assault" as a super saiyan. Its cheap but you can probably defeat him if you do it around five times.

I had no problem laying Gohan out the first time I played through, but the second time Gohan was just ruthless on level three. Then on my fourth time, it was a piece of cake.
