What's the general speed of ki blasts you think?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

They vary in speed like real life punches and kicks.

EDIT: I think the modern video games depict the speed of ki blasts the way I would imagine them to be.

My immediate feeling on the question is that
  • Basic ki blasts do get quicker as the user gets stronger (not sure why, but the thing that immediately came to mind for me was #18 barely dodging SSj "Mighty Mask's" ki blast at the 25th Budokai - comparing with, say, the ease she had in dodging SSj Vegeta's effort when they fought in the Android Arc), but...
  • Some ki blast techniques are specifically designed to be faster (e.g. Yamcha's Souki Dan) or slower (e.g. Kuririn's Kakusan blast) than the basic-level ki blast, and so they obey their own special laws.
For whatever that's worth.

It's rather difficult to say. At different points in the story, some fighters(Freeza in particular) have demonstrated that Ki attacks are capable of moving too fast for even other Ki users to see. And then in other parts, it was established that even ordinary humans are capable of at least observing the moments of fights that don't involve traveling & trading blows around the arena/environment at superspeed. Fighters are supposed to be able to control & improve how fast their ki attacks are as they get stronger, but that somehow hasn't stopped non-fighters from being able to see what's going on here & there.
Who knows if there is any general or specific speed to Ki blasts? It seems the story doesn't care enough to answer that question.
