I've been thinking about it and wondering how folks feel about the conflict resolution in the climax of the Moro arc?
Personally I like it, but that's only because we're aware of who Oob is and his thematic significance later in the chronology. If the ending of Dragon Ball didn't loom over the arc, would the climax be as satisfying? In essence, if someone was watching the series chronologically and was only introduced to Oob via his reference in the ToP and Moro arcs, would his appearance to power up Goku be as memorable?

The overly reaction to the 3d action of the galactic patrol arc (Moro fusion with 7-3 and on) is generally disliked/looked down on outside of Mui Goku styling on Moro

I think that considering who his character is based on, if I didn’t know he existed in the final chapters, I would be interested in knowing how impactful he would be later in the story. It’s a shame most of his character interactions happen scattered between three different post Boo sequels, specially in GT where he got the best representation in Baby arc.

They spend half the saga talking about how strong Dai Kaioshin used to be and how his great power went to Kid Boo. It would be very frustrating if all that just amounted to filler what was already the most bloated act of the saga (Namek).
I don't think that should've been set up in the first place, but it's a satisfying conclusion to what was set up. Merus trusts Goku, Vegeta and Boo/Dai, and it's a group effort of them that defeats Moro.

I don't understand why Uub's power wasn't being absorbed by Planet Moro too considering others had to be in the air to avoid getting absorbed, and Uub didn't know how to fly. Feels like Toyotaro didn't think of this little detail.

That entire arc was necessary to explain why Goku still cares about Uub after meeting Jiren and Broly. Because Uub has a portion of God ki, and even a fraction of it is enough to tap into greater depths of power than any "normal" mortal could ever dream of.
When the Manga continues, and when the Manga reaches the End of Z Arc, I fully expect Goku to think back to the fight with Moro when meeting Uub.

Akira Toriyama, DBS vol.4 joint interview with ToyotaroAt his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired. But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. [...] On my own, I doubt I would have been able to express Zamasu's fall to the dark side.
