He was right about Broly.
In both continuities.
Some people think King Vegeta was just petty and jealous, and that is probably true too. But we cannot take away the fact that he accurately predicted everything.
He said Broly will someday lose control of himself and become a threat to the entire universe. How did he know? Was it just a lucky guess?
Or does this prove that King Vegeta was a very intelligent leader?
King Vegeta has a lot of character depth that gets overlooked.

I think that harming and/or killing children is bad and wrong.
Re: King Vegeta did nothing wrong
It was due to prejudice and fear. And envy. Had been Vegeta IV* the one with that crazy potential, he wouldn't have killed him under the pretense of loss of control down the road.
A real king would've killed Paragus, adopt Broly, raise him as his own, and sculpt him to be the chosen one that would defeat Freeza. That probably would've created some problems with his biological son, of course, at some point.
Goku and Vegeta are now proving him wrong.
*thanks for clarification, nineko

Re: King Vegeta did nothing wrong
Nitpick: Vegeta III is the king himself, I think you wanted to mean Vegeta IV.
