I don't think there's a good local-ish con I can attend easily in the nearby future, but I'm certain I can discuss Toriyama's ability to age up characters and actually pay attention to continuity... but only when it's one single connected story. The moment there's a bigger "break" in the timeskips, then it all goes to "eh?" lol


Toyotaro being the GOAT mentioning DBO specifically though. He's the real one.

It would also be fun to have both Von and Meri together on the podcast one day and discuss both Toei's whole DB revival era (and its future) and Sailor Moon Crystal in that context too, given how they (Mike too?) are fans of boths shows, same generation, yada yada. Maybe throw in Saint Seiya in the mix too for an overall look at the biggest 90s hits being brought back in the modern era and how things progress differently in each franchise and how it influences the future potential. Mandatory discussion about Takeuchi's porsches included ;P

Don't wanna say "Kanzenshuu podcast girls pinky edition" but kinda, a broader perspective ;P All these shows had a broad appeal to all 90s kids anyway
