Unless Cell returns (in which case Dameon Clarke will probably reprise his role) Super (2026) will likely have no Canadian castings as the Copy Vegeta arc (where we had Brian Drummond as the titular villain of course) almost certainly won't be retold because its a filler mini arc.
Excluding Daima this will also likely be the first time any Dragon Ball series never had any Canadian cast members (as original Dragon Ball and Z were dubbed in Vancouver, the former and GT were dubbed in Calgary and Kai was dubbed in both cities).

This thread got me thinking; do we really think Furuya is done with Yamcha and Dragon Ball? I imagine for Super: Beerus they are not going to re-record non-essential audio, which I would imagine would be anything Yamcha says(or any dialog from non-Saiyans, Beerus, or Whis).
I know he had his scandal and wasn't involved in Daima(which recast everybody anyway) but it's insane to think of him as excommunicated when he was just in Sparking! ZERO...

I get the impression that they are fully revoicing DBS:B, and if so, yeah he's fucking gone.
The news announcement from pre-Daima was much more of a "this role is shifting in its entirety" rather than "for this one time".

Yamcha definitely deserves a new voice actor. To hell with Furuya.

Wasn’t Sparking Zero recorded before the scandal got out?
I’m still not sure why I a new recording is even necessary since it’s not like Super was recorded in mono ala Z. But we knew Furuya was out - and rightly so- so any further shows and video games would include his replacement

In addition to Suzuki voicing Yamcha, I'm curious if Ebara Masashi will voice Mr. Satan. Ebara voiced Mr. Satan in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotto, but this wouldn't be the first time that a voice replacement for a video game did not voice a character in the next animated series. Madono Mitsuaki and the role of Tenshinhan comes to mind.

Also, keep in mind there will probably be unexpected changes just like with OG Kai for the English dub (all of the dubs really). Who knows? Maybe some of the Daima dub voice actors will replace some of the OG's in the Super remaster dub. Crazy to think Monica Rial is now an OG Bulma, for example.
Also, if they redo Broly and Super Hero in the remake, Johnny Yong Bosch will most likely be Broly. I'm just interested to see who gets recast or literally recast to reprise their roles. And for the latter case, I'm really curious to see how the original voice actors handle their performances in Super Kai. Will they treat it like a Kai and be really accurate to the Japanese version and give it their best effort? Or will they voice it like a video game since they're just redoing it?

Ugh, I hadn’t even thought about Mike McFarland being gone as Master Roshi. I’m still coming to terms with Buggy being voiced by a different actor in the final One Piece arc. McFarland is a cool guy, and regardless where you stand on dub vs sub for One Piece or Dragonball, McFarland did a magnificent job in both shows. This hits hard for me too because McFarland is one of the few VAs I’ve met in person, although it was way back in 2008 at Anime Weekend Atlanta for the world premiere of the One Piece dub. He spoke with me and half a dozen other fans after the show about behind the scenes stuff for the One Piece dub, which he was also the ADR director of at the time. It was a really great experience. Anyway, it’s going to be hard to hear someone else do Roshi in the English version, he’s been such a constant for the past twenty years. They could probably get away with re-using old lines for the remake arcs, but even if they did that, he would still inevitably be replaced for the new stuff. Damn.

A shame we won't have Chris Ayres as Frieza, he's got to be my favorite voice of Frieza in English

I also hope that there will be better performances in some parts of the series like in the Latin American dub of the "Nadie toca a mi Bulma" scene from ep. 7.
