Was SSJ Goku really 150 million on Namek?

I know the official PL have SSJ Goku at 150 million and Freeza at 120 million but I'm wondering if that 150 million is just a hypothetical value of what Goku's PL would be if he were fresh and not injured. Recall that prior to Son Goku becoming a SSJ, he took a lot of damage in his base form from frieza. So I am suspecting that his base PL would have dropped from the initially 3 million he had at the start of the fight when he was fresh.



A SSJ transform multiplies whatever your base PL is by 50. So say Goku's PL dropped from 3 million to 2.4 million from simple exertion, use of ki and injuries that would put him at around 120 million when he transformed. This seems to track and be in line with what we see in his fight with frieza, as SSJ goku was above 50% frieza by a clear margin but was struggling with frieza at 100% full power.



It would also explain why Goku seems to only get the clear victory when Frieza's PL begins to drop rapidly due to muscle fatigue of his form.




Also a 30 mill difference is huge. Recall, fighters in this arc were getting curb stomped for less.

I agree completely that goku was not at his best.

goku kkx20 was equal to freeza 50%
so to be equal to freeza 100%, goku would need to have a 40x increase.

But because goku was HS : instead of goku 100%x50 >freeza 100% ,we got goku #0% x50 = Freeza 100%

Goku HS should be less than 50%. But Thank to ssj1, goku got his energy back. But he wasn't back to 100%, only to around 80% because if ssj gives you back your energy, it still doesn't heal wounds.

Both Goku and Freeza were heavily damaged and fatigued. Either you believe the 120/150M numbers represent their hypothetical best if they were fresh, or transforming into SS/100% healed them back up.

Both were hurt. But despite his wounds, freeza was much less exhausted.

And ssj is x50 while freeza only got x2.

And freeza only augmented his strengh, he didn't transform so he wasn't healed like when he got from 3rd form to final form(Got his tail back).

Yes.

He and Freeza's injuries may have held back their actual battle performance somewhat, compared to if they were both fresh and unscathed. But that's a separate thing from how much raw ki power they actually had to work with. And if literally everything says that was 150 million for Goku and 120 million for Freeza, then that's that. If they were meant to be operating with less power than that, then something would have said so by now.

I definitely feel like the first time transforming into a super saiyan just rejuvenated Goku. He couldn't even move himself unsupported after the genki dama, and yet was basically totally fine while in base form later in the fight. Him and Freeza both seem to be pretty close to their full potential after they go full power to me

I thought that but... I think it was a huge adrenaline rush honestly. I mean he's already standing on his own after Krillin is murdered screaming at Freeza telling him he won't forgive him.
