What Image Best Represents Kanzenshuu for a Custom Calibre Ebook Cover?

Post by bahhma » Tue Apr 14, 2026 2:36 pm

I'm creating a custom Kanzenshuu "recipe" via Calibre. I've never really been one for writing guides, and I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the process, but I really had one main question:

If you had to assign an image that represents Kanzenshuu the best, what would that image be?

Basically, if someone wrote a book called "Kanzenshuu," what would the cover of that book look like?

The purpose of this is to have Kanzenshuu news automatically pushed to my Kobo Clara e-reader so I can read it from the comfort of an e-ink screen in a portable format. Calibre takes the RSS feed URL, downloads the news based on the number of days I specify, and formats the articles as a book on my device. Here's an example of a generic cover that was created by Calibre for The Asahi Shimbun:

And here's the metadata before any input from me:

I'm also not really great at graphic design, so if someone wants to cook up something, that'd be great 😂

Additionally, Calibre is open-source and I believe News Recipes can be pushed to the greater community, so this could potentially be useful to others.
