Did Buu kill the God of Destructions?
Did Buu kill the God of Destructions?
In the Future Trunks arc, it seems to be the case that Beerus died because Supreme Kai life was linked to him and he died fighting Dabura. In that case, did Kid Buu indirectly kill a few GoD when he slayed the North and West Kaioshins? What happened to the God of Destruction tied to South Kaioshin?

All of those Kaioshin in the Boo arc are tied to Universe 7, where Beerus is the God of Destruction, and there's only one God of Destruction per universe. We don't know what their relationship to Beerus was, because nobody working on Super cared enough or remembered to address the fact of there being five Kaioshin in Universe 7 at one point.
I just headcanon it as: the fat Grand Kaioshin is the only one of the five who was actually a Kaioshin, and so his life was the one linked to Beerus. He's the one who has to meet with Zeno. The other four Glind (as Daima calls them) were maybe just attendants or apprentices like Kibito or Zamasu, helping to oversee different quadrants of Universe 7. When only Shin/Nahare (East) was left he became Universe 7's Kaioshin, and his life was now linked to Beerus. So then retroactively we can say that in the Boo arc when Shin/Nahare is calling all four of them "Kaioshin", he's using the term loosely or incorrectly.
Alternatively you could interpret it as all five of them are Kaioshin, and are linked to Beerus, and if anyone of them is alive Beerus is fine, but if all of them die then Beerus does. Maybe more Kaioshin being connected with him increasing his life force?

Ah okay I see now. I prefer that 2nd theory that all 5 of them are linked to Beerus lifeforce, mainly because it makes him have less of an achilles heel.
Somewhat side tracking here, but I like to think people who are absorbed by Buu are eventually fully digested into him, thus the two Kaioshin he absorbed pretty much don't exist anymore.

Yeah if they still existed I think we'd have seen them in pods in the Boo arc. Granted, the story about the five Kaioshin came after the inside Boo part, so it's possible they just weren't thought of yet.Kid Buu wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2026 2:04 pmI like to think people who are absorbed by Buu are eventually fully digested into him, thus the two Kaioshin he absorbed pretty much don't exist anymore.
