Leak – LEGO Dragon Ball will be a full theme in 2027

As the title says, Shenron and minifigs are a thing, as it was reported quite a time ago and it looks like they are not done with the theme afterwards.
Bricktap is legit, more so, that I've got some of the leaked Lego sets myself as they were subsequently released.
Wonder what kind of sets there will be... Some dioramas, Freeza's spaceship?

I feel Kame House would be a no brainer. Small set, Iconic location.

I guess that Shenron will be similar to those display sets they released for Pokémon, with 1st Gen starters evolution.
And the rest of the sets will be geared towards 18+ as well. One Piece sets aren't small at all, hence yeah, Kame House, Tenkaichi Budokai, anything iconic is in the game. The rumor states that there will be ton of new molds for minifigs and focus on early DBZ.
One Piece has lot of ships, but I do wonder if there will be any smaller VS dioramas, like Goku versus Vegeta on the rocks, Goku vs Freeza on Namek, etc. Lego is quite cheap on minifigs these days outside of huge sets, therefore I would be genuinly surprised, but won't complain, if there is more of the gang beyond two figs per set.

And please, god, do not link it with that smartbrick gimmick... even tho to be frank, the smart brick Pokémon sets actually don't look like a trash and make sense in comparison to that awful Star Wars line.

I don't think DB has many iconic locations or things that would work as a Lego set. It has the Budokai arena, Freeza's ship and Trunks' time machine, perhaps the lookout and that's mostly it. Yeah there's Capsule Corp but would that really work/sell as a playset? The most "iconic" locations are the random rocky fields where a lot of the action takes place.

It was right about time. Since the moment they released pokemon, I knew they would be releasing dragon ball any time soon.

I had lots of fun with my SSJ nano brick figurine, I can only imagine lego size will be also increasing the fun.

We know lego is expensive, so normally I would not buy any.... but I believe I can get at least one DBZ set once in my life. I would be a fun activity to do with the kids. Great news, honestly, great news.

Gero's lab would make a cool set. With the Androids being unsealed and a hidden Cell in incubation. I wonder how extensive this theme will be? Will they touch movie material? Will it focus on DBS for the anime revival? I am fairly interested to see what comes of this.

The reason so few people care about it is because these companies went out of their way to hide it from them. You can't expect people to care about something that borderline doesn't exist.
