Dragon Ball Super: Beerus (A remaster)

Based on what I have read, the new series starting this month is going to be a remake of Battle of Gods with Beerus, Frieza's ressurection and then universe 6 stuff

They already did remakes of Beerus and Frieza in the original Super series, why are we getting it again?

Hopefully there is some new content there, but from what the announcment suggest, it's just a repeat re-animated.

Brings me back to my childhood days where I watched the same episodes week after week. The newer generation about to see what it was like to watch the same episodes on recycle while waiting for a new saga to air

^ That's a good decision on their part.
We had the choice between waiting for the Moro arc with nothing (you can't create simultaneously two DB anime from scratch) or fixing the half-assed first anime for the first arcs thanks to the fact that they have a big base to work on and correct into a proper full-quality anime this time.

Why are people even asking "why are these people going back to correct the thing they screwed up the first time instead of leaving it subpar forever? Why are these people actually going "let's have the DBS anime be a correct anime for people instead of a rush-animated, overextended mess for the first arcs since we can do it in-between"? Why are these people wanting the arcs to be more in line with the upcoming we-take-it-seriously-now Moro arc with the new "Dragon Ball Super Blue" seal of quality?"

Maybe because that's the intelligent thing to do: you don't leave the first part as "we had problems back then so the first part is messed up but enjoy the upcoming high-quality arc", you upgrade what was messed up to be a more acceptable way to live the whole story.

In other words, you clean your half-assed mess, you don't leave it saying "just deal with it".
More companies should actually do that and perform a "correct-through" on their work when didn't do enough the first time around due to mismanagement, grueling scheduling, production problems and so on.

And no, you don't say to people "go watch the Z movies and then come back for the rest of Super" either, you want Beerus' arrival to sign the beginning of Super, including as a TV show format.
So Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' need to be correct as a TV series to follow, not just a movie.
