People! This is what we need to do...

Post by Ben Plante » Sat May 15, 2004 7:40 pm

Every here that can get to Otakon... have a Daizenshuu EX shirt made with our own person forum name inscribed, so we know who each other is. That way, if we see a shirt, we can be all 'HEY!!!!!!!!!', and shake hands, and say hellos, blah blah blah, move on. Then after it's all over... we all hit the bar.

...

Worst. Idea. Ever.

Yeah, but I wouldn't :P.

To make it somewhat ON topic... who all IS going to Otakon, this year? I mean, it's obvious that I'm going... since I go every year... but yeah. I'd be up for getting lunch one day and doing the general hanging-out. And stuff. And junk. And stuff.

You also admitted that you're going to a convention. The only people sadder than you are people who play dice RPGs. Oh shit...I'm trying to organize one of those...

Correction: the only thing sadder than us are fangirls! Yes! That's it! We're not sad at all!

Nice cover-up Dayspring.

I don't even know where Otakon is but I do know I can't go. I've got $0 sadly. Very broke. Though, once I do have money one of these years I will go to a con.

A bar? I don't think everyone here is old enough to even enter one...

Frankly, I think that the only people sadder than those who go to conventions are those that spend all day posting on message boards about animes that ended years ago.

Heh! Exactly. Like us. Although, I guess I'm only 50% of a sad loser since I couldn't afford to go to AnimeNorth this year. No fangirl killings for meeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Glad I wasn't serious, I would've been real disappointed! :-P

...

I should do it just for the hell of it. That'd be hilarious.

MAHA! So I am exempt, since I'm a manga purist (except for the tv specials+movies)! BUWAHAHA!

You're not exempt! TV specials and movies count as anime!
