An explanation for the GT "plothole" with Pilaf
As we all know, many think it's a plothole for Pilaf to be alive in GT because of the wording of Dende's second wish during the battle against Kid Buu. However, I have an explanation.
Plain and simple, Porunga would've had to focus on pure evil beings when he revived the Earth's populous. And as we all should know, Akira Toriyama himself considers Piccolo Daimao the first pure evil enemy of the series. Now you may be asking, "But Conan, what's your proof?" My proof is Akkuman being revived with all the Earthlings, clearly seen at least in the anime giving his power to Goku. Now considering this is supposed to be the "devil" incarnate, however wasn't pure evil, I think it's safe to assume Pilaf and his cronies could be brought back to life no problem; clearly implying Porunga only strayed from reviving pure evil beings (such as those psycho gunmen).
Well, thoughts?

Yup, same with me. Pilaf alive is no big deal, I mean his comic relief than a real villian. And he hasn't being doing much, has he?

Everyone's like, "What?! What are you doing with two arms?! You tear that off right now, mister!"

Lol'ed.

I'm with ya, Conan. Pilaf's not actually evil, per se, as much is he is just a troublemaker. Poor Mai and Shu are even less so. It's the reasoning that let them ride Kinto'un in my Fanfiction.

Ha ha ha. On another note, are you the one Mexican DB otaku that was interveiwed by DBZOA? I distictly remember reading that interveiw and was surprised that information about the Mexican dub was avaliable online on a website like that. Re: An explanation for the GT "plothole" with Pila
Sounds reasonable enough to me, I never really considered Pilaf to be all that evil. Evil intentions maybe, but it's hard to consider him an evil villian when all of his plans blow up in his face in comical fashion.Conan the SSJ wrote: ... ...And on a side note, it's funny how if you wipe out an entire planet of millions or billions of people with a Galick Gun, you're a villian / anti-hero. Shoot a dozen people with a machine gun and you're pure evil.

But that doesn't happen in the manga, so only Toei holds that opinion.Conan the SSJ wrote:Akira Toriyama himself considers Piccolo Daimao the first pure evil enemy of the series. Which is fine, since GT is their series anyway, so Akkuman being alive in then anime can explain Pilaf being alive.
