Manga question.

Post by TriforceCaptre » Tue Feb 20, 2007 3:45 am

Hey all. I have a question for anyone who has purchased the Viz Dragonball mangas. I've been looking around online for them and will also be checking some book stores, and my question is wich versions should I buy if I stumble upon some different ones? I've read and heard that some are censored and some aren't. I've seen pictures of some of the same chapters but with different covers. Is that just the cover art for re-releases or will that be a hint as to wether or not it's censored? Also at what point do the DBZ Manga's start to mess things up? I remember on the podcast the guys mentioning things like "Djinn Buu" and "That guy who looks like Mr. Satan" . Are those the only things they fumble on or do they start to censor images as well?

Sorry for the lengthy question. I just really want to make sure I get the right info before I end up buying the wrong thing.

Ugh, why do companies always fuck with Dragonball. Oh well, thanks for the help. I tried useing the search button but just got a lot of threads that had nothing to do with my question. I'll have to make notes for whenever I get to B&N again so I know what to look for. Thanks again.
