Past Play-Asia Sale DEAD - Jump Ultimate Stars NOW $39.90!

Post by Tsukento » Thu Mar 29, 2007 2:54 pm

Well, I found out that Play-Asia's doing a 20% off sale until the 5th of April. Quite a huge amount of items are pretty cheap to grab, and that means some Dragon Ball stuff is to be found at reasonable and great prices. A few things to note, however:

-Sale only includes anything that wasn't released in this past month.
-Only items that ship within 24hrs apply. Some may go out of stock, while some may restock and increase in amount of time to ship.
-From what I'm hearing, some people are saying that the $5 off $50+ coupons don't seem to apply to the sale. Not sure, haven't been able to confirm.

Music CDs
Dragon Ball Z 3 (Budokai 3) Soundtrack $22.32 (Currently back to regular price)
DBZ Hit Song Collection $10.32 (Currently back to regular price)
DBZ Hit Song Collection 3 $10.32
DBZ Hit Song Collection 7 $10.32 (Currently at regular price)
DBZ Hit Collection 9
DBZ Hit Song Collection 11 $10.32
DBZ Hit Song Collection 14 $10.32
DBZ Complete Song Collection 3 $35.95 (Normally $44.90 :\)

Video Games
Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Neo (PS2) $51.92
Super Dragon Ball Z $23.92 (!!!)
Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Neo (Wii) $51.92 (Japanese Wii needed to play)
Jump Super Stars $23.92 (Currently back to regular price)
Jump Ultimate Stars $39.12

Misc Items
DS Lite Capsule Corp Pouch $8.90 (SOLD OUT)
DS Lite Piccolo Daimao Pouch $8.90 (SOLD OUT)
DS Lite DBZ Stickers and Screen Guard $6.99

Doesn't seem like a whole lot, but I'm pretty sure when more items are in stock, that'll change. Shame that none of the DVDs are even applicable for this. The listed Hit Song Collections are even cheaper now with this deal, making them even easier to collect. And Jump Ultimate Stars for $40 isn't too bad considering DS games normally sell for $50. Super DBZ's definately worth nabbing at that price, even if a used US version was recently dropped to $20 at GameStop/EB Games. :P

Just a side note, though the deal has now been done with, it seems Play-Asia's permanently dropped the price for Jump Ultimate Stars down to $39.90. It notes how you now save $9 off the previous price, which was $48.90. Worth also noting that this is one helluva deal as the previous game went back to being $48.90 after the sale ended. :P
