Budokai 3 question

Post by Prince Vegeta » Mon Apr 09, 2007 1:27 pm

When you reach a new level you can increase your attack,health,etc.
Now my question is:In what does arts,ability and com increase?
And another question:How do I get Cell jr?
I know it has something to do with the DragonArena and the last question:What is the opening theme to the game?(the European release)

Spaces are your friend. Please put them between words and sentences :). Also, in this case, it's "your" (not "you're").

The opening theme to DragonBall Z 3 / Budokai 3 is "Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai!!" (“I Won’t Stop Till the End!!”), as performed by Hironobu Kageyama (with backing vocals by KÛKO & YUKA). The American release received an instrumental of the song.

To answer your other questions:

"Arts" is the damage for special moves;
"Ability" is the effectiveness of the capsules (items) you've attached;
"Com" is how well your character plays when controlled by the computer.

If you're not going to send out your character's password to friends to fight against, don't even bother putting a single bit of pointage towards the "Com".

Someone else explain the "breaking in" in Dragon Arena :P. Been too long for me to effectively describe it, especially to unlock Saibaiman and Cell Jr...

To Unlock the Saibamen, and Cell.Jr. You need to have a character at a certain level fighting against another character at a certain level. For example, (you choose level 25 Vegeta, and fight Level 40 Broly, Nappa then Breaks in, you defeat Nappa and Gain the Saibamen) So you just need to find the right levels to use and fight against to gain the Saibamen and Cell.Jr.

Hope this was helpful.

Actually, who you fight when the "breaking in" occurs is only relative to the level of the opponent. It has nothing to do with the player's level.

Opponent's level ... who you fight when someone breaks in
01-30 ..... Yamucha/TenShinHan
31-35 ..... Nappa/Kid Gohan
36-40 ..... Kuririn/Raddiz
41-45 ..... Dr. Gero/Android #17
46-50 ..... Freeza/Bardock
51-55 ..... Cell/Teen Gohan
56-60 ..... Dabura/Kaioushin
61-65 ..... Majin Buu/Videl
66-70 ..... Piccolo/Super Buu
71-75 ..... Cooler/Mirai Trunks
76-80 ..... Chibi Buu/Mr. Satan
81-85 ..... Brolli/Chibi Trunks
86-90 ..... Omega Shenron/Chibi Gokuu
91-95 ..... Saibamen/Uub
96-99 ..... Gokuu/Vejita

Breaking in is completely random. You might get one or two back to back, or you might go several hours without getting any (like me, when I was trying to get the Cell Game budokai rules). It doesn't matter on the player's level, although there's speculation that break ins happen more frequently when you're a lower level than those you're fighting (again, only speculation). But you CAN be higher level than the opponent and still have it occur (when I finally got Cell to break in I was about +10 levels higher than he was). It also doesn't matter if you fight the same character on that particular level over and over (for example, you can fight a level 54 Mr. Satan 500 times and it won't affect the break in).

Cell Jr. is unlocked when Piccolo or Super Buu break in (so fight levels 66-70).
