The next console Dragonball game

Post by Anonymous Friend » Mon May 07, 2007 8:16 pm

Where's the next console Dragonball game release?

Usually by now we'd have some info on something, right? Or are they skipping this year?

I really hope they are skipping a year because the developers really need it. I want a quality Dragon Ball game, not a quantity one (*looks at NEO*).

DBO has been confirmed for a possibility on the 360, but that won't be till 2008.

From the
don't expect it to be another typical fighting game.
Line.
I'm hoping rpg. Maybe like a 3d legacy of goku.

Well, I'm assuming the next version will be a PS3 exclusive and will take advantage the cell processor, Namco has close ties with Sony right now. If it were to be multiplatform again(NEO was a PS2 and Wii release..), I'd assume that there would be a 360 version, with a possible Wii version, depending on the power and disk space it takes to run the game.

There will probably be a wii game, or at least one released with the other ones, I don't they developers will pass up a chance to take control of the Wii's controllers.

In other words, they won't want to pass up the large sum of money they'll make by putting out a Wii version.

If there is a Wii version along with a PS3 version or PS3/360 version, it'll probably be a spin-off or a downgraded version of the PS3 game.

This is the reason I'm holding off on getting any next-generation system. All the games that have come out that I like are currently for the Wii, but if the next dbz game is ps3-only and looks astounding I'd be kicking myself.

No idea what's coming but I still want an 'in-universe' Great Saiyaman game. Something along the lines of the old Final Fight type action/beat'em-up games. With Great Saiyaman, Great Saiyawoman, and Hercule as your playable choices. XD

I want a new DBZ Ps2 fighter this november. It'd break my tradition without one. And make me very, very sad.

Apparently Budokai 1-3, Super DBZ, and the innovative NEO aren't enough to wet your whistle? ;) Seriously, we have 7 DBZ games out for the Ps2 (8 counting Budokai 3 GH), no doubt offering something of interest to any fan in its own ways. Come on, we don't need anymore IMO, at least not for this console. Bring on the games for the Wii and Ps3! I don't know if the X-Box 360 has many chances for a DBZ release, considering all the original X-Box had gotten was Sagas; though at least it's getting that online Korean game.

Obviously not, or I wouldn't be asking for one.

My opinion: Please, please, please, no PS3 dbz games until the ps3 is actually reasonable to buy. Ur... and *looks at entertainment center* and when there's room for it.

I think the surge of "Fight! Fight! Fight! Characters! Fight!" has taught the producers something... ^^. So the ambiguous rumors don't seem that far fetched.

Untill Blu-Ray players go down some more in price, I wouldn't expect the PS3 to go below $500 within the next 3 years.

I want a DB game on Neo-Geo Pocket Color! ^^ A fighting game using Legendary Super Warriors battle graphics!

(And yes I am aware it's not a console, and dead, but still....)
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Sony will drop the price before 3 years. They can already drive the overall cost down since the Blu-Ray diodes are much cheaper now. (Around 100$ cheaper.) I bet we'll see a price drop within 1- 2 years. Bundles are always possible as well.

Anyways, I feel they are creating a PS3 DBZ game, but holding it off for one more year. I could easily wait one more year with all the great PS2/PSP/Wii DBZ game(s) I already own.
