Cell Games: Surrender cover change... a trend?

Was a reason ever given WHY the DVD cover for Surrender was changed from the old VHS one? Was the VHS one... offensive in some way that I can't seem to notice?

Or, perhaps they are going to do this for all the rest of the Cell Games discs, as well as the Great Saiyaman ones. Kinda like how the YYH edited and uncut releases get different covers.

Or maybe they're just being bizarre and arbitrary yet again.

Anyone know?

I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess, I would say that they finally realized how damn ugly the VHS cover for Surrender was. I think the new one is much better. Er, make that sorta better..

Or maybe they lost the screenshot they used for the VHS and decided they wanted a new one :?

On a more serious note I think they went from bad to worse but meh I dont buy it for the cover so I dont care that much, just another volume or two before SSJ2 Gohan is on DVD ^______^

Well, they should at east replace the "Nightmare's End" cover. That one's horrible.

I noticed an apparent cover change for the next volume, "Earth's Last Hope" as well, maybe they are trying to make it seem like a little "bonus" incentive to pickup the discs despite them coming out so far past what would of been their selling prime.

About Yu Yu Hakusho I noticed that for the coming volume "In the Blood" there are 2 different "uncut" covers, the one thats getting around the net and the one in the trailer for the episodes, so who knows what will happen there.
