Post by chronofanatic4282 » Wed Jun 23, 2004 2:42 pm

Does anyone know an online site where i can order all of the daizenshuu's.(has to be an online site)(don't say amazon,borders,etc...cause they are all sold out). Also i only want to spend around $15-17 for each volume. It seems like every site i go they are all sold out.

Thou shall learn to type properly before posting again. Thou shall not make two threads that are exactly the same thing.

And Dayspring... thou shall not make one-line responses.

The daizenshuu are going to cost you money. Lots. They're older books, and I doubt they're in print, anymore. Even when they were new, you were paying $25-30 for them... and that's WITHOUT a lot of price mark-up. Where can you find them? Look on eBay.

And dammit, please type properly. This isn't your average OMG I LeiK3 DbZ W0@ERTE!!! forum. No, I have no idea what word I tried to type just there.

Very sorry for accidentily posting two topics. I'm new to message boards. But on the other hand, what exactly did I type wrong to so offend everyone on this board. Good God people.

Questions end with a question mark (?).

"Daizenshuu" is not possessive in this case ("daizenshuu's"), nor does it even need a plural form, in the first case.

There are spaces between words in regular sentences, nevermind a list.

"I" is always capitalized.

Like I stress time and time again, we're really striving for a different kind of board, here. I want people to come to the forum and go, "HOLY CRAP! DBZ fans here can SPELL properly, AND have intelligent conversations?!?" When you see people who don't know how to type a basic sentence in English, it really irks you, ya' know? Basically, I'm asking that if you can't follow the rules here, please go elsewhere. They're made explicit when you first come to the board, so there's no excuse for not knowing and understanding.

You're a guest here, and you're expected to act as such.

I actually found the first Daizenshuu at a little hole-in-the-wall comic store I stopped at on a whim (I almost didn't... now I'm so glad I did) about a year ago. It was only $30 brand new, so of course I jumped all over it. Well, not literally, of course. >_>

Anyway, whatever. Just double-check your posts before you actually submit them. Not only do WE look stupid when people can't type, but so does the individual ^^.

Also, one final question for VegettoEX. When will the Manga Reference section be updated?? It is behind about 12 chapters and I love the section! :D And before i forget...Are there any plans for a Kanzenban comparison page?

Uhh... he reads the board. He'll answer. Eventually. If he wants.

Ah, c'mon. There's a difference between actual grammatical mistakes and conversational slang that's written a certain way on purpose ^^.

I don't want people to think I'm a robot... gotta have some personality, too!

And as those who stayed with me at AnimeNext well know... I have personality. Far too much. Especially at 3 am.

So yeah. Buying daizenshuu. Do it.

That's my point. The slang would either be "ya know" or "y'know". Not "ya' know". The apostrophy isn't needed after the "ya".

Plus, I own the damn place. I do what I want! I run with gangs, and we only commit hate crimes! Whateva'! I do what I want!

I'm being stupid again. Buy daizenshuu. God, I need to get out of here. *looks at clock*

So the best place (and probably only ) to buy the Daizenshuu is on auction such as E-Bay? THAT SUCKS! But oh well...time to start watching the bids...

Try looking up searches like "buy Dragonball daizenshuu" on google or whatever. I'm sure after daizex and site linking to daizex you'll get sites telling you where you can buy some of them. I hear "sasugabooks" (don't know the site. Prolly sasuga.com or sasugabooks.com) is good too.

I caught him! I caught him! Using that logic, whenever anybody makes a mistake they're "just adding personality"!

Actually, the first Daizenshuu was released in Denmark under the name "Den Store Dragonball Bog" (The Great Dragonball Book) a few years ago. It might be cheaper to just buy that one.
