Are there 2 missing episodes not on dvd??

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Are there 2 missing episodes not on dvd??

Post by drew77 » Tue Aug 21, 2007 12:41 pm

Hi I am trying to get all of Dragonballz on dvd and I almost have all of the dvds. But from the trunks saga to the Android Saga there are 2 episodes missing it goes from 108-111 the 2 missing episodes are 109. Z Warriors Prepare 110. Goku's Ordeal. Does anyone know if these are on dvd or were to get them it would be a huge help. Thank you

There were actually 2 versions of the Trunks-DVDs. One with episode 124 and 125, (The japanese numbers for the ones you mentioned.) and one without them. You just got unlucky and got the original release instead of the 5-episode re-release. Apparently the re-release also had the eyecatchers, and improved subtitles, so try to track down the correct version.

And why did you post this thread twice?

The Trunks disc "Prelude to Terror" got re-released on DVD including the episodes on the earlier version and the two additional episodes that you're mentioning. If you go to a store selling it, look at the back cover and there will be descriptions for five episodes, rather than three.

I don't think there are any places that sell the old version any more, so just search for the Prelude to Terror DVD and you should find the correct one.

Actually FYE, Wherehouse, and Suncoast only have the old one in stock, and the new one isn't even listed. I've been looking for it too and other places just plain don't have it in stock. I do believe http://www.discountanimedvd.com has it and so does the ZStore.

Sometimes the episodes aren't even listed online and the only way to tell which one it is is to look at the cover. The old one's "CONTAINS TWO VERSIONS" description is written in much larger print than the new one.

FUNimation definitely released those episodes, and now they're going to regret it. Imagine the ad campgain they could have had to help sell off Season Four?

Left with little choice, rivals Goku and Piccolo unite to face their greatest challenge yet as they learn ZOMG!! NEW SKILLZ in a brutal contest of strength that pushes them to the limit. But will having a driver's li-- er, THESE NEW SKILLZ be enough to aid them in the upcoming fight for the future of the universe?

Find out and see what has never been seen before in DragonBall Z: Season Four, presented for the first time UNCUT and IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Oh, and just ignore the whole widescreen thingy that completely negates the words "uncut" and "entirety," plzkthx.
