Post by Kendamu » Fri Dec 14, 2007 5:09 am

EVERYTHING MUST GO! FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!

VERY IMPORTANT: PayPal preferred!

Hey, everyone. I've got some Dragonball and Dragonball Z stuff for sale that I need to get rid of in order to have cash for new Dragonball stuff! That, and my Dragonball shelf is getting a bit full, anyway so I need to make room.

Either PM me or send an e-mail to kendamu@gmail.com if you're interested in buying any of these items. As items are sold I'll take them off this listing as to not confuse anybody.

All prices include shipping. Worldwide shipping will cost more, though, depending on where it's going. All DVDs listed are Region 1!

(No, the Senzu jar and the Dragonballs are not for sale. They were being used to hold the items in position while I took pictures.)

UNCUT Dragonball DVDs #4, 5, 6, and 7: General Blue, Commander Red, Fortune Teller Baba, and Tienshenhan Sagas (56 Episodes Total!) -- SOLD! SHIPPED! DELIVERY CONFIRMED!

I got them on eBay. Same place I got the Scouter, the Capsule, and the Dragon Radar.

Oh, cool. (...I'm so jealous...)

Anyway, it seems like I already own pretty much everything you're selling, so...I'm no help at all. I should probably be having one of these myself. I take it this is at least partially in order to help buy the Dragon Box singles, like you were talking about in the Top Fights thread?

Wow, that price for the Saban-era DVDs is fantastic (especially considering my local FYE has just the Namek episodes for around $100)!

Sadly, I won't have $60 until after Christmas...
I also go by "veemonjosh".

Hey Kendamu, I have something I need to try and sell, would you mind if I posted it in here later on instead of starting a new sale thread? If not it's cool, just figured I'd ask.

Son Goku, if nobody gets to them before you I can wait that long. I'll be out of town and visiting family on Christmas and the couple days after so you'll have to wait a couple extra days for me to ship them after you buy them. If someone else gets to them first I'll have to give it to them, though.

SonEric84, Go ahead and post the item you want to sell. I don't mind. I might end up adding another item or two to this list as well.

Cool thanks! Okay, what I have for sale is 4 sets of Dragon Ball Z mini capsule figures. There are 10 figures in each set: SSJ 3 Goku, SSJ Gohan (Cell saga), Vegeta, Cell, Majin Buu, Goten, Trunks, Mr. Satan, Videl, and Piccolo. I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere or pictures, so I had to take my own. I only opened one because they're still all in the plastic wrap (well, minus the Goku I used for the pic.) and include the little paper inserts.

pictures:

Sorry that quality isn't the best, but it was the best I could do. Anyway, I am asking like 9 bucks a set.

A note I want to add is that I originally had the Dragonball DVDs and the Season 3 DVDs marked as "SOLD" when really, at this moment, the sales of both are in a "pending" status. I'll mark them as "sold" as both deals go through completely. I'll also mark items as "shipped" once I do that as well.

How much did you get those dragonballs for? Since you're not gonna sell them...

Hey Kendamu, hows the quality on those Pioneer dvds? Is it like the Funimation dvds?

I have a Dragon Ball (the Four Star) that looks just like those that I bought in Japan. It was about 1,800 Yen ($14-$15 maybe?).

Suffice to say, a whole set may be expensive.

Castor Troy -- I think, after shipping, I got them for around $35 or so. I did an eBay search and got results such as this listing. You can find several sets in the search I listed so just look for the best price.

Genki Dama -- They're the exact same episodes you'll find on Toonami Jetstream if that's what you mean. The DVDs themselves are pretty decent in themselves, though. They are FUNimation's dub but these weren't produced in-house as far as I know. If you have the first three movies with the Ocean cast they're about the same quality (except the movies had no editing).

If you don't end up selling the season 3 discs, would you consider selling the 2 Ginyu discs separately?

Keep in mind that the seller of this set is from Hong Kong, meaning they probably aren't legit. But whatever floats your boat, as they say.

Well, if they're fake, the bootlegger is pretty ballsy to put Bandai's customer service phone number and logo all over this thing (here's what the top of the box looks like). They also went to a lot of trouble to put Japanese (instead of Chinese) all over this thing. Most bootlegs I see have Chinese (and sometimes Engrish).

Just because I got it from Hong Kong doesn't make it "AUTO-BOOTLEG LAWL" or otherwise I wouldn't have found my Scouter and Capsule on Bandai's Website even though I imported those items from Hong Kong (candy and all).

It's this kind of stuff that makes me cautious.

But, if they do turn out to be bootleg... I'll just buy legit orange plastic balls with stars in them when I go to Japan.

Isn't there a bitrate isssue?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Hell if I know. I'm not Corey.

If you're talking about where the digital mess pops up and everything kind of goes 8-bit for like half a second... I think I might've noticed it a couple of times at most. That, or it was some bootleg I was looking at that did it. I can't remember.

Point taken. I just tend to steer clear of sellers from HK because of the super bad reputation they have! And most of the stuff they sell looks fake as shit.

Wait, are the ones you have actually plastic or was that just a joke? Because mine is glaaaaaasssssss.
