I just thought this was kinda cool and figured I would share. It'd be cool to have, but I couldn't afford it.

If you look at the cover for Dragonball Vol. 30 (VIZ DBZ Vol. 14) you'll see Akira Toriyama's signature to the left of Vegeta. It looks similar to Toriyama's handwriting that it may very well be real.

I dunno, that Goku looks a little off from Mr. Toriyama's usual style.

HAHAHA! Sorry but I don't think so. That Goku looks like my 3 year old cousin drew it! lol WOW. Someone took a piece of paper, drew Goku on it, scribbled up a signature and is trying to sell it for $1,200.00. If anyone actually buys it for that much, I have to say...WOW. That doesn't look real. Now if it was some kind of super picture of Goku, I might believe, but this is just hilarious. lol Nice way to make money, scribble something on a napkin and sell it for over a grand on Ebay.

And as far as it looking like the signature on the Dragon Box, yeah... How hard would it be for YOU to copy it? There's no packaging really. It's a laminated piece of computer paper.

EDIT: Sorry, scrolled down. Still looks really off.

I looks like the drawings that the American Shonen Jump gave out as prizes upon its launch. Not to mention that Toriyama drew sketches like this for a few attendees at the Shonen Jump launch party.

Yeah, maybe it's a copy of that or something. Goku does look a little strange, but I guess there's really no way to prove it either way.

You are bidding on autograph of DRADON BALL author "Akira Toriyama".

This is NOT a copy, Original autograph.

DRADON BALL was serialized on Japanese magazine "Shu-kan Sho-nen JUMP" in 1984-1995.

It's fake doesn't look like a Toriyama drawing... and his Autograph/Name is always in Kanji not Hiragana.

Scroll down about 3/4 down the page and look at the Goku sketch. That's his signature. I've never seen him write his name in kanji.
